Sound Bath Meditation
Sound bath meditation uses bowls, gongs, or other instruments. Sound vibrations elevate your senses and synergize a deeper meditation experience. The purpose of a sound bath isn't to literally listen to the sound, but rather to let the sound wash over you. Like a bath, all you have to do is just lie back and let the sound transport you.
Acupuncture and Acuseeding
According to traditional Chinese medicine, energy travels along invisible pathways, called meridians. Auricular acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine filiform needles into meridians in the external part of your ear, which is a microsystem for the entire body. The needles have a round edge so they don’t cut the skin. In auricular acuseeding, metal or crystal seeds are placed on certain points, usually along meridian lines to promote openness of energy pathways and wellness. Auricular acupuncture and acuseeding are a great way to introduce yourself to this healing practice.
REIKI
Reiki has its roots in Japanese wellness. It is administered by laying on hands and is based on the idea that life force energy flows through the body. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words — “Rei” which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and “Ki” which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." At the practitioner's hand placements, you may feel a slight tingling, heat, energy, or nothing at all. The sensations or lack are not a measurement of Reiki’s effectiveness; they are just how your particular body senses energy.
